Bristol Uncovered can be heard on BBC Radio Bristol every Saturday & Sunday morning between 1am-3am, on 95.5FM or 94.9FM, on DAB Digital Radio and on line on the BBC website. Clicking on www.bbc.co.uk/bristol takes you to the "Listen Again" feature, where you can hear each show for a week after broadcast at a time more convenient for yourself. Bristol Uncovered is an alternative music show with a focus on local bands and gigs. We get bands and musicians in to play sessions and we bang on endlessly about how fantastic the music scene is in Bristol & the surrounding area. If you're in a band and are looking for gigs in Bristol & Bath, have a look at the "Links & Gig Info" page where you'll find contact details for many of the venues in the area. It's more or less up to date and a pretty good place to start. If you want to send us your demo, please send a CD to RICHARD PITT & GARY SMITH, BRISTOL UNCOVERED, BBC RADIO BRISTOL, PO BOX 194, BRISTOL, BS99 7QT. We can't promise to play everything we're sent and we can't return CDs either, but we will listen to it (eventually) and if we like it, we'll consider it for the show. We update this website now and again, but you'll find we spend more time than is good for us on www.myspace.com/bristoluncovered. There are different features there, including details of events we're attending, a new featured band each week, gig listings for the week ahead, playlists from the show and links to more venues in the area. If you haven't done so already, come and be our "friend". We're becoming a cult, or at least something similar. If you are looking for hosts/DJs for you next event, we'd be happy to consider it. E-mail us at mail@uncoveredmusic.co.uk with the details and we'll get back to you URGENT! If it's to survive, the ASHTON COURT FESTIVAL needs all our help right now. It's such an important part of what makes Bristol a great music city, it seems unthinkable that it might come to an end, but it will if enough money isn't raised immediately. If you plan to help, please don't put it off, as the money is needed right now. Details on how to donate can be found on the official website www.ashtoncourtfestival.com. Big thanks to all those venues, promoters and bands organizing benefit gigs. Nice one.

We were delighted to be involved with South West Sound, both this year and last year. For SWS 2006 we made a number of podcasts, which you can hear below. They should give you an idea of the excellent Bristol/South West music scene and a flavour of South West Sound itself. Hopefully, you'll be encouraged to take part in SWS 2008. Have a listen and let us know what you think - mail@uncoveredmusic.co.uk Podcast
